Short-Term Mission Trip Information

A short-term mission trip with Hope Renewed International (HRI) is generally a week long adventure for you and a team of people that want to make a sustainable difference in the lives of those who are marginalized and living in extreme poverty in Guatemala. Short-term trips and sustainability are not usually two terms that work well together, but you can be assured that when you book at short-term trip with Hope Renewed, you will be donating time and resources to on-going work that is asset-based and participatory in nature. You will be giving time and resources to communities in Guatemala that are receiving a HAND-UP, not a HAND-OUT. Local Guatemalans work alongside mission teams and with the Hope Renewed staff on the ground in Guatemala, and that work continues after mission teams have left.
